The draft choice looms large no matter what happens, but there are a number of possibilities this winter. It looks like Selig admitted there is still an opportunity that Aiken could be an Astro. That would leave them with the fourth pick in the draft (as where they are in the current standings) and then the supplemental pick. They could be in their current situation where they would have the second, fourth, and then the supplemental pick. It is also highly possible that they lose their grievance on Nix which would mean they would forfeit one of those first round picks. The best case scenario involves having either the second and fourth pick or signing Aiken. They could have as many as three first round picks. If that happens, this draft could end up being Luhnow's Waterloo.
