I'm pretty sure that Porter was Luhnow's hire (unless it was Crane's "I'm not a racist" hire) but anyway I think Porter gets the axe long before Luhnow does simply based on the management hierarchy. And, once again, the Astros will only replace him with a rookie manager that has no power because that's what the Astros do. Or do you really think Jim Crane is going to pay full value for a manager when he won't pay full value for a star player?
