I haven't seen one complete game on TV since Porter has been the manager, and haven't been to a live game since Porter has been the mgr, so I can't make any comments whatsoever on in-game Porter decisions. But there have been several criticisms on this board of in game decisions by Porter as this team is trying to progress into being competitive...so, if part of the alleged acrimony between Porter and Luhnow involves game decisions by Porter and Luhnow's criticism thereof, doesn't it stand to reason that the GM may be in agreement with several of those on this board who've been scratching their heads about Porter and game management?

Luhnow rightfully merits close scrutiny at this point regarding this previous draft and the subsequent PR nightmare...so the jury is still out on all that and whether or not he can recover and/or his system will start producing fruit. But it seems obvious that if one of the two has to go, it should be Porter hands down, if for no other reason than management hierarchy.
