Luhnow is the only one who I think has damaged the reputation of the ball club. Until his crazy ideas and strategies start to work out, it needs to be his head on the chopping block. Porter has been dealt a crap hand. I actually like Porter and the decisions he makes when it comes to line-ups. He isnt afraid to mix things up. His bullpen usage has been suspect, but he basically has gotten to choose between a gun to the head or a drive off a cliff with the bullpens he's been handed. He can't be blamed for that. You know who can? Jeff Luhnow, or Jim Crane. Eventually, they need to INVEST in this team instead of gambling on prospects. Luhnow's dealings with Aiken has given us a black eye. His piggy-backing system in the minors has pissed off prospects. He might have pissed off Springer and his agent with his low-ball extension and REFUSAL to call him up when he was actually ready. Luhnow is the one who has actually caused tangible damage ot the ball club. He is the one who needs to go. A little bit of outside the box thinking is good, but the traditional routes for evaluation have worked for years, and some credence needs to be given to them. Luhnow and Crane are the ones I am pissed at right now. They need to make changes.
