If you look at pitcher VORP, Oberholtzer actually was the best Astros starter last season. My lying eyes said he was fourth, but if you go strictly from his second tour it wasn't that distant a fourth. I'd say he should be fourth if for no other reason than it's good to have a lefty to throw in there. I've coined the phrase that I don't care if he throws right, left, or shoots it out of his butt, I want five guys that will get hitters out. Still, if it's a close call I defer to lefties.
