I'm not expecting to see the Astros at the top of the division, but I'm very much looking forward to the season to see how all the personnel situations work out.  To play a little with Dennis Green's tirade, I hope they're who we hope they are.

Keuchel and McHugh -- is it possible that the Astros really have 2 of the league's best pitchers under contract?
Springer, Carter, Gattis -- are all these guys legitimate 40 homer candidates?
Singleton -- can he overcome the rookie problems and be the player he's been projected to be up to this point?
Marisnick -- can he hit enough to become a regular and maybe make us forget the loss of Michael Bourn?
Rasmus -- can he justify his seemingly inflated salary or does he just land in the overflowing extra outfielder pool?
Correa, Appel -- will the #1 picks find their way to the big club this year?
the bullpen -- will all the 'new blood' added really pay off  (and can the rest of the team construction make any bullpen improvements relevant)
outfield slots 4 - 13 or so --  this is likely the last chance for some of these guys in an Astro uniform.  Do they get traded, demoted or even released?
3rd base -- platoon?   or does one guy take the position?

While this may not be the championship season it just might be the fork in the road that tells us if that's in the offing.
