My translation is this: a 50 would be MLB average. A prospect at 50 or below probably has less than 50% chance to be a successful major leaguer (not just reaches the majors but contributes significantly). That tells me Correa and Moran are the only really good hitters we have coming up although you can see Phillips as having the potential. The others may get here but they may be future Dominguezes.

As for pitchers, it's harder to say although I value control the way some others value a plus fastball so watch for Brady Rodgers to overachieve out of this group. My jury is still out on Appel who I'm not sure has the mental toughness to be a great pitcher.

Finally, this is a snapshot of what scouts think now. There is always time to re-evaluate with further development.
