For the sake of a very rough analysis here's another look at the position players.   I just combined the "hitting" and power numbers to provide a very gross hint along the lines of OPS and combined the run, field and arm numbers for a feel for the defense factor -- not exactly rocket science.  I didn't bother to correct for an average so the offense numbers would be compared to 100 as a baseline and the defense numbers compared to 150.  The rank is by the offense #s.

I agree that these numbers only represent a point in time, and I'm not even sure if it's the present time.  These could all be carryovers from their original draft evaluations.  And even then the proverbial grain of salt should be applied.  Derek Fisher's profile says that his weak arm (40) restricts him to LF;  Delino DeShield's profile says that his arm (also 40) shouldn't be a handicap to him in CF.
