Unfortunately, part of the package of being offered five million is the confidence that you are worth every penny and more. These are kids that are dominating their level of competition. In Aiken's case that includes international competition. Most of us didn't have stellar high school careers in anything. I see five million as easy street. They see it as a drop in the bucket. The idea of the pools was decent enough but all new ideas have unintended consequences. Thank God that Backwoods Dipshit Bud is no longer in charge. The new commissioner has some new ideas. Hopefully they can tweak this thing so that it makes more sense moving forward.
