That radio suggestion is horseshit, proark. I can imagine the conversation going something like this with the agent:

Astros: Umm, say there, pahdnah. We'd like it if your guy could, you know, uh, submit to a doctor's examination for us. How's that sound?

Agent: A doctor's exam? What kind of doctor's exam?

Astros: Uh, you know. Just a look-see on the ol' money maker there. X-rays, MRI, stress tests. You know, usual stuff.

Agent: I see. Let me get this straight. I "represent" a guy in line to get millions of dollars in a signing bonus without me potentially giving you evidence that would reduce his value to zero or thereabouts. And you want me to take the risk of giving you that evidence? I have that about right?

Astros: Well, uh, you put it that way it kinda sounds rude. We're all family here in Astroland.

Agent: I don't believe these exams are permitted under the collective bargaining agreement.

Astros: Family. Didn't you hear me? Family. We're family. We'll keep the results just between us girls.

Agent: What if the results show something negative?

Astros: Well, wouldn't you want to know that? I mean, you wouldn't want your guy getting rich when he doesn't deserve it, wouldja? I mean, how could he sleep at night?

Agent: Tell you what. I have some psych exams I'd like you to take, you know, just to make sure you're sane and all. Wouldn't you want to know that??

Astros: So that's a no then, huh?
