The Pfloogies will line up as follows (and yeah, it was fun, guys):

C     Carlos Santana (knew I had to grab him well above his ranking, and I did)

1B    Joey Votto  (bounceback year...?)

2B    Josh Harrison (multi-position eligible, good numbers for a 2B who's real position is 3B)

3B    David Wright (bounceback year #2....?)

SS    Alcides Escobar (decent value late in the draft, should get some steals and score some runs)

LF    Bryce Harper (who knows with this guy, but what the heck as a #3)

CF    Mike Trout (first overall pick of the draft. Duh)

RF    Mookie Betts (the big overreach of my draft, intrigued by the OBP/run producing capability)

DH    Steven Souza (missed out on Plan A Pollock and Plan B Pederson; this guy may be a sleeper, or may be AAAA; he'll have a short rope and platoon with Martin Prado)

Bench guys -- Martin Prado (mult-position); Chase Headley (1B, 3B); Jung Ho Kang (SS but probable eventual multi-position); none of these guys were targets for my bench -- got outmaneuvered on Ben Zobrist, Marcus Semien, Stephen Vogt and/or Yasmani Grandal

Starting pitching --  Went for value starting midway through the draft and beyond; who knows if the strategy will work:

SP    Carlos Carrasco, Mashahiro Tanaka, Michael Pineda, Mike Fiers, Drew Smyly, Dallas Keuchel, Jesse Hahn

Relief pitching -- The Pfloogie philosophy is that all closers eventually blow chunks, but from a fantasy standpoint they are what they are. For the entire relief corps, the focus was on high K/9 guys with a history of low WHIP, and middle relief guys who are the backup closers on their team but will hopefully get some holds in the meantime:

RP    David Robertson, Cody Allen, Jenrry Mejia, Ken Giles, Brad Boxberger, Danny Farquhar

Play ball, gents
