The guys the signed to long term deals (Lowrie) are versatile enough to move around or shift to the bottom of the rotation (Feldman) or deeper in the pen (Neshek, Gregerson). The rest are one year commitments. Let's also remember that the tv situation may have hamstrung them more than we know. This spending may have simply corresponded with having money in the first place.
