Totally agree, Scott. Other than the Rasmus signing, I was fine with their off-season moves. I guess the temptation by Luhnow to justify an old draft pick was simply too much in Rasmus' case but, payroll-wise, it could be fit in.

Let's see how many of these key pieces in the rebuild pan out and, in the meantime, find useful short-term parts to put around them so that they'll be in a winning culture once the key pieces arrive. I didn't like the tear-down but now that this phase is passing, let's see how smart the decision scientists are in rebuilding. So far, I'm not thrilled but I'm willing to give it time to work.
