It's a lot closer than I'd thought, actually.

Still, you have to admit there was something weird about the way Lugo was ousted. We got nothing for him, a guy who Pinella called the "heart and soul" of the Rays. Maybe he really did something awful to his wife on tape, but maybe the Astros used the chance to swap him for AE.

Being only a year younger than Lugo, I doubt Everett will ever eclipse Lugo at the plate. If AE could take a walk once in a while, I'd be much happier with him.
