The Chronicle repeated this morning that Koby is leaning towards the Astros, and this time it came from a source better than Buster Olney- his dad. Seems like going pro and not playing college ball has been his dream, so he has a chance to realize it with his dad's orginization.

I'm torn on this one- Id love to see the Stros get him and start bringing him along. There is also the Aggie part of me who would love to see tu lose another one of their top recruits (and for the second year in a row have the Astros be the reason for it). But the value of going to college is huge. If baseball doesnt work out, it gives you an outlet to do something else with your life. The experiences in college are priceless. As an Astro fan, Id love to see him sign, but as someone who just graduated from college and got to have the college expeirence for 4 years, there is a lot he is going to miss out on going pro out of HS.
