I've never been to MMP but it has to be an improvement over the Dome, which was a cave, a cavern, a dungeon. Maybe it would have been OK for football but as a baseball facility it was horrible. Similar to other "cookie cutter" facilities built in the mid-sixties (notice I said similar not exactly like) it ranked behind all the others (IMNSHO). Riverfront, The Vet, Busch, Shea, Candlestick, Jack Murphy, and Fulton County were all better baseball facilities. (Never made it to Three Rivers) Consider yourselves lucky to now have a "state of the art" baseball only facility. I just wish Wrigley were "state of the art".
