I have great memories of the Dome, pit that it was. I remember going to some games back in the '86 season where that place became the loudest stadium I have ever been in. I also got raging sick off the hot dogs once, but that was at an Oilers game so I blame Bud Adams.

I appreciate MMP as better place to see a game, I hate the manufactured eccentricities (flagpole, Tal's Stupid Hill) put into it for no reason other than they felt like it. I also don't get the whole train thing - we used to see ourselves as the futuristic "Space City", and we build a stadium dedicated to ...the railroad? WTF? I understand that the old Union Station used to be there, but that was hardly a landmark like Grand Central Station, or even Penn Station. It was more like the million other non-descript train stations that every other city had. I think old Uncle Drayton just liked playing with trains or something.

I give a marginal vote to MMP, because it doesn't smell like stale beer and urine....yet.
