Lidge will be fine. He may be tired, but I don't know for sure. All I know is his slider is not consistent right now and maybe that is a sign of being tired. Dye's hit tonight was on a slider that did break down. Dye was just able to put a bat on it and hit it up the middle. Dye is their best hitter (like Berkman for us) and he was extremely hot tonight (he was 3 for 4). They probably should have walked him and pitched to Konerko, but hindsight is 20 - 20. I think Garner, Lidge and others have learned a lot by this experience and will be better for it next year. Lidge will be fine. You can count on it.
