It was 10 years ago today that the Pirates threw the first, & so far the only, combined extra inning no-hitter in baseball history. It was old 3 Rivers Stadium against the Astros. Francisco Cordoba threw 9 no-hit innings & lefty Ricardo Rincon threw a hitless 10th. Then it was won by Mark Smith's 3-run pinch-hit homer in the bottom of the 10th!
