The Houstontexans.com website forum is quoting a story (actually two different sources) that says the Texans will be sticking with Carr. A couple of questions for the peanut gallery:
1) How do you feel about this?
The main point of contention is that there is no one out there that is better. This presumably includes Jake Plummer, Brady Quinn, and Kevin Kolb.
2) How much of your faith in the organization is tied to the QB spot?
Some people think we will have black outs next year for the first time in six years. Is this more to do with the lack of overall success or a hangover from the Bush/Young debate?

Personally, I think it is better for Carr to move on. I think he is perfectly capable and just as good as Plummer (with more physical talent), but the people in Houston are fed up. I don't think he will get a fair shake here.
My personal faith in the organization stems more from the OL than from the QB spot. This team has had consistent protection issues in four of their five seasons. The running game has been off and on as well. If they replace one or two of the lineman with talented rookies (read: first round pick) or notable free agents then I might believe. If not, I will be disappointed.

I'm down with OBP (yeah you know me).
