It will be interesting to watch the Naturals since they are the AA team of the Royals. With Dayton Moore as GM, they apparently have some really promising talent in their A-AA squads right now.

Does anyone have an idea of any real promising prospects who will be in Corpus this coming season. I live in Arkansas & we have a new AA team (the old
Wichita Wranglers) starting this season in Springdale. My wife & I plan on going every time the Hooks are in town. Just wanted to know who we needed to
keep an eye on.

AstroAR,
I lived in Rogers for a few years and I always believed that a Minor League team would do well in that area. There are a lot of people that go to Hawg games just for a sports fix that aren't even affiliated with UA or the state of Arkansas. One name to watch for is Josh Flores. |

Mitch Einerston and Eli Iorg, outfielders; relief pitcher Sam Gervacio (if he isn't at AAA). The only ones ranked above C+ by Sickles are Einerston and
Norris, even though I have heard good things about Flores, Gervacio, James. |

AstroAR,
A result of almost every vendor that does business with Wal-Mart having an office in the Bentonville/Rogers area, is the large expense accounts plus high individual income, which both corporate and individual are always looking for a way to give back to the community. The demand is there as long as the stadium is nice and built in the right area, it would also help if it served beer too. Where will the games be played? |

I really want to see Bogusevic pitch, I followed him when he was at Tulane. Looks like from some of the names I do recognize...James, Iorg, & Gervacio, that
I should get a good chance to get to see some of those guys.
JackSparrow: The stadium is in Springdale about a block or two to the south of Hwy 412, its almost a block behind the weigh station in Springdale that is across 540 from Ozark Guidance, Holiday Inn, etc. They will sell beer. HOK designed the ballpark, which is the premier ballpark architects in the country. Its going to be a very nice ballpark...Arvest got the naming rights: Arvest Ballpark. I used to work for them, now work for a competitor... |
