In what has turned out to be a roller coaster ride of a 2007-2008 NBA regular season, the Houston Rockets just clinched a playoff berth with their 105-79 win
over the L.A. Clippers tonight.
The Houston Rockets are now 52-25 with 5 games left to play this season.
The only thing left to play for is playoff seeding, but at this point I'm very happy the Houston Rockets made the playoffs and I'll let everything else work itself out.
The rookie point guard Aaron Brooks led the way with 18 points tonight and that's a perfect way for the Rockets to clinch a playoff berth. A player you least expect to contribute is the man of the night as the Rockets win their 52nd game this season.
52 wins with five games left and I think the Houston Rockets may end up with 55 wins total.
That's quite impressive to say the least. When we lost Yao Ming for the season, I thought we would struggle just to make the playoffs, but here we are celebrating the fact that the Rockets have clinched a playoff berth!
It's amazing and pretty special, and regardless of what awaits in the 2008 NBA Playoffs, I'm just going to enjoy the ride.
