Don't delete this thread. A rebuttal needs to be heard. I have been an avid fan of this site for quite some time. The insight and debate that occurs is extremely entertaining. I have been intimidated from posting on here because of the all the knowledgeable minds on this board. However, this garbage continues to sicken me. Barzilla, you never cease to amaze me with your arrogant selfishness. A sad situation occurs at a close-knit community, yet you use it as a forum for your self preservation. Let me use your bullet points for reference: 1. Your personal situation- One of your students last year is related to me (your name gave you away). She stated numerous times that you were the worst teacher she ever had because you never taught and in fact were on the computer the whole time during class. To support this statement; have you ever noticed when the majority of your posts occur? Between 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Isn't that similar to a school's hours of operation? To further support this claim; have you ever observed the numerous youtube and myspace video clips of your class? Where you even aware that your students were filming practical jokes in class? Apparently not, because your classes had no control whatsoever. If you don't believe me, check the videos. You're the guy on the computer 1. (Repeated for some reason) Lack of standards coming and going- You announced to your students in the first week of class "I don't fail my students." Great way to establish standards. They knew all they had to do was show up. The student I am familiar with has been an honor roll student her whole life, yet you put her a year behind in her content area because she never had to apply herself in your class for an entire year.
For writing material, stick to baseball Barzilla. And for a career, I would suggest Best Buy.

I'm trying to deal with this discreetly Mtlac. I don't want to turn this thread into a huge character assassination attempt which is what it seems to
have become.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I stand
by everything I said, but have to send a public apology on this one. I was given bad information and should have checked it out. Otherwise, I am leaving this
issue to die.

I joined this board to discuss baseball. I travel a lot with work, and the posters on this site keep me as up to date as possible with my team. They are very intelligent baseball writers on this board, yourself included Barzilla. This website will continue to grow leaps and bounds with such a great core. But, please don't use this board as place to vent your personal attacks and negativity.
Secondly, you are quoted "I don't want to turn this thread into a huge character assassination attempt which is what it seems to have become." Uhh, the entire intent of this thread is a character assassination, only it was you who was doing the attacking, not the one under attack. It stinks having your character questioned, but at least you are able to defend yourself. |

jose cruzzzzz wrote: Mr. Cruzzzzz, I'm just going to tell you once. You better go read the posting guidelines of this forum and abide by them if you want to stick around. You want to tear apart someone's post, that's fine. When you start telling someone what they should stick to, that'll get you run pretty quick. FWIW, I know of the bogus name you used in your e-mail to apply, so I've already got some suspicions about you. Any further correspondence to me about this issue needs to be done privately. Don't bog down this forum with it. Consider this your one and only warning. Have a nice day.
