Work your magic tonight, Flastros!
I'll probably be relaxing and watching the game on my big-screen television in the living room ( I already have FSN Houston on a bit early, and I believe tonight's game will be in HD as well ), but I'll be reading ( glancing at ) the game thread throughout the game as I walk back into my room in between innings. I expect the Astros to win their fourth game in a row tonight. It seems like more people are starting to post in the game threads, and that's what I like to see. The more people who post, the more fun you guys have. Go Houston Astros!

As long as we win This match up favors Houston...Oswalt vs. Zito...but the match ups in LA favored the Dodgers and look how those worked out. |

It looks like Coop is stocking the lineup with righty bats to face Zito. You have Pence and Loretta at the top of the order with Cruz and Ausmus at the back.
That means Bourn, Matsui and Towles are starting out on the bench. of course, Ausmus would normally catch Oswalt so that's no surprise.

Mark Loretta will probably have a multi-hit game tonight.
I expect the Astros to score at least 5 or 6 runs tonight, but something closer to 10 runs is probably a little more likely. We shall see what happens...

The "Astros Live" Pre-Game show is just about to start on FSN Houston.
I'm about to eat dinner before I watch the game. Don't let me down guys! I want to see you guys produce at least a 101-reply thread that goes three pages deep. That's going to be quite a challenge for most of you guys during a late-night game ( I know some of you who have to be at work by 5 a.m. ), but I think you'll be able to handle it. The Astros will be playing exciting and winning baseball, so that will likely fuel you with some extra energy into the late-night hours tonight.

Cubs are ripping apart Randy Wolf and lead 4-2 in the 5th. Chicago has a tough lineup.
SL is losing 7-1 to Milwaukee in the 5th. |

Flastros, so that means there's a possibility that the Houston Astros will be only a mere .5 game out of first place by the time we wake up tomorrow
morning?
I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, but that's exciting to say the least.

If the Cubs win, we would still be 1.5 games behind, even if we win.
Where's our beer prediction, Flash? Don't mess with the streak.

Personally, I'm not as confident. The Astros have traditionally struggled against lefties, traditionally struggled in Frisco, the Astros took a physical
beating during that three-game series in L.A. even though they won all three games and Coop is resting a third of his lineup.
