There are 29 Major League teams and then there are the Houston Astros but MLB has decided to continue the farce by scheduling the "historic" AL debut of the Astros for ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball as the sole Opening Day game for Sunday, March 31st. This will replace the April 4th game, not the originally scheduled opener of April 2nd.
Too bad they didn't make it April 1, which would have been more fitting.
Hey, Sturt! Make yourself a banner and buy a front row seat somewhere that the ESPN cameras can catch you. You might have to self-censor the first 99 things you'd like to say but a tasteful "Bring Back Our NL Stros" would be great. I might even chip in part of the cost.
