First the Marlins end of the deal:
Jarred Cosart: 2-1, 2.08 ERA in four starts, 26 IP, 1.000 WHIP with Miami.
Kike Hernandez: 0-for-7 (.000) with three strikeouts before getting sent to AAA New Orleans where he is hitting .237 with two homers (.703 OPS).
Austin Wates: Batting .239 (.616 OPS) at New Orleans.
Now the Astros end of the deal:
Jake Marisnick: .288, 1 HR (.664 OPS) with Houston.
Colin Moran: .310, 2 HRs (.802 OPS) with AA Corpus Christi.
Francis Martes: 1-1, 0.82 ERA in four games at Rookie league Osceola. 11 IP, 0.727 WHIP
2015 Supplemental draft choice.
Looks like everyone but Hernandez and Wates improved with the change of scenery. Short term, the Marlins have the better of this deal for the parent club but, long term, this looks like the Astros have a solid advantage. It will be years before the final grades come in and a lot will depend on Moran's performance when he reaches Houston (Luhnow is talking about having Moran come to camp next spring and possibly compete with Dominguez). The draft choice could also be key in a few years if it turns into a solid big leaguer.
After the season, we'll check again to see how this looks.
