Anyone who enjoyed the sounds of The Beach Boys will probably get a kick out of this. It's a new album recorded and released by Brian Wilson called "Smile" which was a collaboration that Brian initially was going to release in 1967 but it never happened. On Sep. of this year, the premier of "Smiles" premiered on stage in London and the following website has clips and complete songs from that album.
When you acess the link below, you'll have to register to access the music but it's not much of a hassle.
Once your there, the first song on the list will play by default.
On the pull down menu near the bottom, click on Brian Wilson's re-make of "Good Vibrations". It's better than the original!
For the uninitiated, Brain Wilson was the genius and creator of the "Beach Boys" music and sound and the style comes through clearly in these renditions.
By the way, has anyone heard his new release? "How can we still be dancin' after all these years?" It's a good one for anyone who really liked the old Beach Boys music.
Anyway...here's the link to the site with the music from the "Smile" album:
