Why are the Astros talking about trading for an injured outfielder, I thought we already had one of those. And if they are considering trading Burke does that mean trere is another minor leaguerer at 2nd who has more potential and could replace Biggio in a year or two. Just curious as to the current thinking on these matters.

the question as to why trade for cameron is a good one, as it makes little to no sense (although some reports do have him slated for opening day start), and in my mind is far from worth it even if he was healthy.
we need a stop gap measure until berkman is healthy, and this would not be a stop gap measure. |

From what I have read here it would seem he would not help much at the plate either and it seems to me we could really use some offensive help.

I agree...everything I keep hearing about Cameron (haven't seen him play much personally) is that he's great defensively. If that's all we want, put Taveras out there! If we're trading for a real CF, we need someone like Torii Hunter that can field and help offensively.
