Out of all the long-term deals of the past decade (lets say 4 years or more), where the player signs with a different team than he was with before (no home-team discounts), have any of them been good deals? Have there been any bargains?
I'm really curious. I can't think of many good long term deals, whereas bad long-term deals seem to be all over the place.
I bet the Astros, in the long run, will be better off without Beltran.
