All-star at 3 positions... |
Lead | |
|
I know, I know...it's only the second week of the season, but what if Biggio gets back to the All-star game as a CF? How many players, besides Rose, have ever made the All-star game at 3 different positions? That would look nice on a Cooperstown plaque, huh?

Yep, even if it meant stuffing All-Star ballots by Astro fans, Biggio has come out looking like an A.S. this year, hasn't he. Barring injury and barring any major goofs in CF, the NL A.S. team could do worse out there. He certainly looked stellar last night.

Let's see....he'd have to beat out Edmonds, Andruw, Griffey??? (it IS fan voting). Oh wait, they don't vote outfielders by positions, do they??
I guess he'll just have to put up the numbers so McKeon has to add him to the roster. Astros-RedSox World Series I started out with nothing...and I still have most of it. |

Yeah, it'll be tough | ||

Let's see if the Astros fans are up to it. What I'm really counting on is his selection as the sentimental hometown favorite.
