I notice that Brooks Kieshnick was called up to AAA Round Rock. I wonder if the Astros see him as a potential call up to the big league club in the near future? There have been a few occasions in the 9th inning of some of these close games that I think we needed another home run threat as a pinch hitter. If Lamb has already been used in a game, we don't have that kind of threat from the bench. His ERA looked okay in AA, but I think his pitching to AAA hitter may be more indicative as to whether he can help the bullpen too.
