Interesting article in the sporting news recently about new amber-colored contact lenses from Bausch and Lomb. It makes sense for ballplayers - they don't get in the way and they sharpen vision and reduce glare just like the amber shades (but no one wears the shades to hit). A few players are already wearing them. Best of all, the red-tinted lenses make pitchers look demented and hide the bloodshot peepers the players got from subsidizing all the strip clubs last night. I don't know... if I was Prior - or any other Cub, for that matter - I'd be a bit leery of any liquid around Wrigley Field. Moises just might have left some of his magic potion behind.

Just to clarify the reason for confusion -
I used to go around to all Astros fans websites once a week. The AD forum rarely provided a laugh. It was always so dang serious. And it would on and on and on about some stupid thing. Now, this is not meant to downgrade AD in any way! I just got the feeling NOBODY in that forum ever kidded around. Hence, why I only made about 2 posts in that forum. Hence, why I am taking posters so serious. I do not know who is kidding with me. |
