If I'm not mistaken, that fan in Boston was charged for making contact with Sheffield not for interferring with the play.

The fan in Boston was charged for disturbing a public gathering or something like that. It was not for touching Sheffield.
Anyway I think the law only applies to those interferring with the Sox-Yankees rivalry. |
