Before last night, I thought Roger just had the option of not going to games when the team was on the road. Well, I was wrong. 4 hours into what would become a 7 hour wait at Bush for my sister to fly in from Oregon (really, it hasnt rained all summer...until yesterday, when because of a nasty storm, Bush gets shut down, and as it repons, the 11 planes diverted to Austin cant get off the ground because it gets shut down due to weather. All told, flights due in at 6 got in between 11:45 and 1- if at all- ok, venting done), in walks Roger Clemens as the Astros are in the middle of losing 7-5. Dont know who he was pikcing up but had his youngest kid with him. Props to everyone in the airport for leaving him alone, but as Steve and I were discussing (Steve is a guy I met around 6 yesterday, but after waiting for ever, I knew him and everyone else within 20 ft of me), even though we feel bad for Clemens because he should probably have four more wins atleast on the season, its ahrd to feel to bad for a guy making $18 million and who gets to set his own schedule.
