The 1-12 Houston Texans play the 4-9 Arizona Cardinals in Reliant Stadium today.
Kickoff is scheduled for 12 noon on FOX. This will be the first ever match-up between the two teams.
Chris Myers and Terry Donahue will call the game on FOX.

I sure hope the Texans win today. This will be the first ever game with Dan Reeves as the personal consultant for Bob Mcnair.
I am eager to see how the Houston Texans play today after choking away 3 games in a row. What a heart-breaker it would be if we choked away a 4th straight game. If we lose, I would rather see the Cardinals blow us out because I don't know if my heart can take any more heart-breaker like the past 3 weeks. The Texans players are going to play hard and I am proud of them win or lose. Go Texans ! |

Also, Domanick Davis is not playing .. he is hurt. That is why I want Reggie Bush. Davis is so unreliable and injury prone. What is this, the 3rd or 4th game Davis has missed this season. Yep, every since his LSU days, Davis has been known to miss games.

Anybody know the tiebreaker situation with SF for the first pick? I know it's the team with the weaker schedule gets the first pick, but I don't know who that would be. I googled it, but found like a hundered different methods which all give different answers.

rvega, it is strength of schedule. At the moment, Texans is .578 or so and 49ers is .582 .. Something like that.
For now, Texans own any tie breaker with 49ers. If they finish tied, Texans would get 1st pick right now. But it is so close, it could change in next 2 weeks. |

Warner sacked twice .. Cardinals have to punt. Warner limping off field. I don't know if that is good or bad. Warner is so slow !
Josh McNown is actually better according to some Cardinals fans. |

Texans went for 4th and 1 and lost 2 or 3 yards on a weak run by Wells. Pathetic play call.

Cardinals have Kurt Warner, JJ Arrington, Marcell Shipp, Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, Bryan Johnson, Leron McCoy, Leonard Davis ...
Cardinals have a really talented offense. I am surprised they are 4-9. They should have 7 or 8 wins with this talent they have on offense. |

Texans 0, Cardinals 3 - 4:11 in 1st quarter I guess that is why Cardinals are 4-9. They kick FG's instead of getting a lot of TD's .. Cardinals red-zone % is very bad in terms of converting them into Touchdowns. |

Boldin looks a lot like Chris Carter. He is simply wearing out our coverage. Fitzgerald hasn't done much though.

Wells is running hard today. He just pounded it up the gut for a 1st down run on 3rd and 1.

The only problem is Kurt Warner is something like 9-9 or 10-10 so far in this game with about 100 yards and 1 TD.
Texans might lead 14-10, but it could be short-lived if we can't stop Anquan Boldin. |
